Water Where Air Should Be: "It's Because I'm a Water Sign, Isn't It?" (Physical)
If I could write music, this would would have been a breakup album
Water Where Air Should Be is a collection of poetry written by me—mostly on my fridge with those little word magnets. Each poem has been designed into original digital collage pieces, and complied in a way that documents the complexities of remembering how to exist after a break up that came at a major turning point in my life. These poems were written as answers to questions that I never got the chance to ask.
Thirteen original poems/artworks. Poems can be found transcribed in the back of the zine for accessibility purposes!
This is a handmade, physical copy of the zine. Each zine is lovingly made by hand by me in my basement, which means you can just go ahead and assume now that it’s probably going to be just a little wonky. Copies have the chance of including a hand drawn pen and ink doodle!! (Probably of Garfield)!!
I hope this zine brings you something, the same way it did for me. A digital version of the zine is also available to download for free.
